The goal of METAPHR is to rethink how we conceptualize and create agent-based models (ABMs) towards making ABMs accessible to experts and non-experts alike. ABMs have mostly relied on programs that require major programming skills. METAPHR attempts to reduce those coding requirements by relying on 1) reusable templates; 2) Natural Language Processing; and 3) all the benefits that an online platform provide such as collaboration and access to publicly available models.
METAPHR is a VMASC/ODU initiative to support STEM education and M&S entrepreneurship like CLOUDES (cloudes.me) before it.
